About Us

My name is Heather, a self-confessed fabric addict, and this is the space that was inspired by babies and named after my housemates. I like to sew and give really personal gifts. I worked on an Air Force Base for a number of years. This meant being surrounded by people having babies. I went to three baby showers in six months, and each time took blankets that I'd made. At each one I was asked, "Do you sell these?" By the third shower, after saying "No" for the third time, I thought, "But I could." Ah, ha #1. What to call it? I wanted to name it something that would always have meaning for me ... so I thought about my life and decided that my constant companions and source of entertainment would fit the bill nicely. Ah ha #2. A business was born.

The Two Cats are in the logo: Jeremy in the back and Mozilla in the front. Both are rescues and they bring lots of activity to our space.

Not credited, but highly important, is Sophie the Service Dog. She was trained at KSDS in Washington, KS. My life is much richer and more active with her in it.
